Mr. Page started his career in the early 80’s as a chemical engineer for Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI) responsible for the detailed design of chemical plants. After moving into plant commissioning and managing the specialty methacylate production area Mr. Page then took up a more senior position in Research & Development (R&D) where he managed a team of chemical engineers and scientists and was responsible for key R&D programs. He then became Strategic Planning and Business Development Manager for ICI Acrylics in Europe.
In 2001 Mr. Page joined IHS (formerly CMAI) covering CMAI’s European Market report for Aromatics and Fibers. In 2005 he switched to single client consulting with a focus on the CIS region and Russia. In 2010 Mr. Page took over leadership of the consulting team in Europe and then in 2012 he was given responsibility for IHS Chemical Consulting globally. In 2017 Mr Page’s responsibilities extended to managing the Consulting team for Oil Markets, Midstream and Refining and further in 2018 his responsibilities extended to cover Upstream, Power, Gas and Renewables.
Mr. Page has an MBA from London Business School and a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge University.
