Gina Fyffe is Scottish and graduated from the University of Edinburgh in Biomedical Sciences. Her career started with Exxon in the UK and then its international HQ in Belgium. She founded what is now the global petrochemical trading company Integra in 1989. www.integra-global.com.
Over the years, Gina and her husband have added real estate, construction companies and an Asian-based shipping company with sixteen chemical tankers to the portfolio. Concern about food and water availability has led Gina into shrimp farming and a few soft-commodity projects.
Gina sits on various boards and councils, including: the Brussels-based European Petrochemical Association’s (EPCA) Talent & Diversity Inclusion Council (TDIC); the Gulf Petrochemical and Chemical Association (GPCA) in Dubai; and the Singapore Chemical Industry Council (SCIC). Gina was also a founding member of the Woman in Shipping and Trading Association (WISTA), now a global training and advocacy group. For her work in the industry, particularly in the area of diversity, Gina has received multiple awards and accolades over the years, including in the Middle East and, most recently, in the USA.
She is now in her second term sitting on the international trade committee of GPCA and is leading a small inter-committee group which was recently set up. She has been active in the Middle East for more than thirty years and, as business continues to develop, Integra is looking at investments, JVs and assets in the Middle East to make their services closer and even more relevant.
