Abdallah I. Al-Saadan was appointed as the President of The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu by a royal order issued on June 1, 2018. He started his career almost 30 years ago in Saudi Aramco Company where progressed through a number of positions on increasing responsibility.
During his early years at Aramco, Abdallah worked as a process engineer for various technical and operational organizations including Process and Control Systems Department, Abqaiq Plants, Northern and Southern Areas Producing, and Riyadh Refinery. He then assumed various supervisory positions in the Process and Control Systems Department, Facilities Planning Department and Uthmaniyah Gas Plant (East of Saudi Arabia). Subsequently, he served as the Manager of the Pipeline Projects Department, Manager of the Inspection Department and Manager of Facilities Planning Department, then he moved to Yanbu Industrial city to serve as the President and CEO of Saudi Aramco Mobil Refinery Company (SAMREF) from 2002.
Abdallah I. Al-Saadan is currently the chairman of Marafiq company, and the Chairman of Ma’aden Board Audit Committee as well as a Board member in Ma’aden. He is also a member in The Advisory Committee in Industrial Managemnet College at (KFUPM).
