Khalid A. Al-Falih is President and CEO of the Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco), a position he has held since January 2009.
He has served as Executive Vice President for Operations overseeing the company’s core operations and previously served as Senior Vice President of Gas Operations and Industrial Relations.
Mr. Al-Falih was named to the Saudi Aramco Board of Directors in 2004. He serves on the Saudi Arabian Supreme Council of Petroleum and Mineral Affairs and is a founding member of The Board of Trustees of the King Abdullah University of Science and technology (KAUST). He is a member of the J.P. Morgan International Council and Asia Business Council and a trustee of Prince Mohammad bin Fahd University.
Mr. Al-Falih holds a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University and an MBA from the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM). He received an honorary doctorate from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology in May 2011.
